Great investigative article agout Daunte

This is so crazy... Regardless if there was a landromat, an alley or whatever... We are talking about rehab here. Weights, spas, strength equipment... When I had to rehab after my knee surgery, they had me doing strength exercises in the parking lot of my rehab center... Does this need to be done at the Ritz Carlton of rehab clinics? Not really...

Regardless, this is very lame and looks bad for the Vikings IMO.
 
Brad childress is the perfect example of football coaches that know NOTHING abour medicine/biology/etc.... Sadly, there are many who are gullible enough to believe that if an athlete that is going to a health south clinic for rehab, that they are getting the worst care possible. Very untrue!! All M.D.'s have to take the same boards, no matter what school they go to, they are all basicallly taught the same regimes. As far as ACL rehab goes, and current advancements in acl rehab go, treatment within the medical community is pretty universal and has changed very little within the past year. IMO, this is just a classical case of Brad Chiildress being a complete Deuche Bag. ACL injuries are rather common amongst the sports community and where you get rehab usually is not that important (but who gives the surgery can be , however, daunte's surgeon did JUST FINE.) Anyway, I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in biology, so if there are any questions you want to ask please feel free.
 
That's probably nicer than the Vikings' facilities....:chuckle:

I agree with you there Mr. Ocean Blvd. I hope YOUR knee turned out ok.

Something that's lost in this are the comments made by Nick regarding Daunte's rehab trainer. He literally gushed(for him) about how happy the Dolphins org was with the progress and relationship with said trainer. This flies in the face of the Childress comments of a backwoods facility and rehab. Nick went on to say that there is trust between the staff and the trainer and this was the SAME guy who rehabbed Zach.

Childress may have believed all the things he is saying, but it is certainly low class to continue to snipe at someone not allowed to respond. I felt like Nicks comments were directed at the mess , and a rebuff of Childress.
