I can't remember who the commentator was during the Dolphin game this weekend, but one of them had a pretty encouraging statement regarding the Dolphins... Not sure if this is word for word, but it went something along these lines: "You'd better get your wins in NOW against the Dolphins, because in the not too distant future they are going to very hard to come by"

I thought that was a pretty cool statement. Made feel me feel pretty good anyways, regardless of how this season turns out, we are at least getting some props that we're on the right track.

Of course we are on the right track. We just need a few components to get us back to the glory days. With Saban and Co. I trust we will be very pleased with our next offseason moves. I know we will only get better with time.

They also said that once we get our offense totally organized, the R and R tandem will be very hard to stop.

Of course Steve Tasker and Gus Whoever are no names screwballs anyway, so I don't care what they or Phil Simms or Chris Berman have to say anyway.

Oline played decent, not too many penalties, not too many sacks allowed, couple of key blocks here and there. GOOD JOB OLINE!

The only missing ingredient I see right now is at QB. Our line isn't the worst in the league and it's not the best either. But with a good/decent QB, we'd be putting up twice as many points. Or at least a QB that can get it to wide open recievers in the end zone **cough** Welker**cough**

Gus Johnson is not a no-name screwball by any means. he is one of the best play by play guys in the country.

he does ny knicks games on the radio and is one of the top guys of cbs' college basketball crew.

Ya, that was a joke. We ended up getting a field goal, but in close games, that type of stuff will cost us.
