Most of it has been printed before (except the birth of his daughter in November) but it is a feel good story and covers alot. Good read.

Possessing the inner fortitude to overcome so many obstacles is exactly why Bess will be a success. Like Carpenter, he's a great UFA signing. As a sidenote, watching the circus now going on in Dallas which includes the inmates running the asylum with Garrett and Phillips made party to the fiasco, it's so nice to have adults running the organization and making the decisions now. Very refreshing.

I'm glad he turned his life around and is using it as motivation. On a side note, I always thought he looked quick but was slow. Now I know his best time was a 4.67.

how long is his current contract for? another year at most? if you google image him there's pictures of him with a raiders emblem on his helmet during practice at hawaii..... we need to lock him up this offseason so he doesn't bolt to his hometown team.
