Great Post Game Interview - Dmitri Patterson

Usual soundbites... did I miss something? RELIEVED to see him expecting to play moving forward. Got scared when he got hurt again.

We've got to keep him on the field. Big drop off when he isn't out there.

Guess Coyle, Philbin or whoever made the King Solomon decision had a pretty good idea what they were doing when they jettisoned Marshall instead of Patterson. I don't think many of us understood just how impactful he could be when healthy.

I really liked Tannehill's w/Alex Flanagan. RT IMO was purposefully (tongue in cheek) spitting out the same overused cliches you hear in every frikkin interview regardless of sport.

Patterson=stud.

That's all I want and need to contribute

:lol:

They asked him if the team needed this one and he was like "Yeah, and the next eight!"

Well said.

seems like a bright, professional guy with a swagger about him. like him off the field, love him on the field.

sign him up for three more years with Grimes. they get hurt, youngins come in. I am not opposed to resigning Carroll and Clemmons for 3 years. Clemmons was barking to Jones where to be on Wake Sack last night.

Keep these deep DB's intact. They get hurt, its the game, the key is to have the depth and keep them fresh through the season. Youngins will be ready to go in another year on the fly.

you listen to him and what Wake was saying last night with the NFLN crew and these two sound like they are focused in on nothing but the next play.

Here is an interesting fact. He currently has 2X more Interceptions that both Vontae and Smith have COMBINED. The dudes a stud. Like to see him get his groin right though but lock him and grimed up for the next 4 years.

We definitely seem more likely to make interceptions this year. Patterson, Grimes, Carroll, Ellerbe, Jones, even Jimmy Wilson... I can't recall so many on our Defense being this good at making interceptions. And it's not just because of bad throws by the QBs, Coyle is coaching them to attack. Great to see.
