He is not the one for our team. Did this game really change peoples minds about bringing in Joey?

i can't disagree more... it was far from a great win... and i don't see how Joey can help any more right now.. Daunte is showing improvement and if you don't agree its cuz you already gave up on him. Apparently no matter how much Daunte improves.... everytime he makes a mistake people will call for the glorious guy on the bench. I havent heard anything about Steelers fans calling for batch..... but even that isnt nearly as lame as us calling for joey.... (who is newer to the offense than Daunte is.)

I was about to say the same thing... great win?!?! Are you kidding me? Tenn is terrible!! Them and Oakland are the two worst teams in the NFL. And we almost lost to them at home!

Beating the Titans by 3 points just means we were 3 points better then one of the three worst teams in the entire league.

he is improving he threw the ball well and went deep a few times. he is improving let him stay in and he will prove all wrong.

Yes it means we were three pionts better than one of the worst teams in nfl........but that was on sunday...........Any given sunday!!!!

Plus the bengals were 8 pionts better than the SB champs guess we should just end the season and give the lumbardy trophy to the Bungals!!!!

I said great win because we really needed a win for team and fan morale. plus I did not want anyone one to say I was being too negative. Because to some people anything other than (GO FINS!!!!) makes you a total D-bag

Sorry - I agree "long term" but ain't gonna happen this week. Dream ON! :D

Daunte did pretty much what he was told. Manage the game. Don't take risks and please no turnovers. True - He fumbled and stumbled again, and looked confused out there ("spooked" according to game Announcers) ... but stuck to Mularkey's ultra conservative plan. Stayed with the ground game, and short out's designed to pickup 5- 10 yards. That is exactly what happened and I am betting the exact instructions they gave to Pooper.

The Defense won this game for us. Thanks much, Andre Goodman and Travis Daniels - these guys looked sharp out there eh? I just don't think this Team can rely on D to carry things next two weeks. Daunte Culpepper is gonna have to PASS for some scores... not just act like a running back. He's going to need some poise, somehow.

:shakeno: Give it a rest dude. We will get better. Jeeezz

In all your posts, you blame Culpepper. Any QB that doesn't have a line is going to play bad. The reason he takes the sacks is probably because there isnt anything open. If he doesnt have time to throw and there isnt anything open, what option does he have? In my opinion, he is a smart QB, it is better keep possesion then to try and be a hero and cause a turnover.

No it didnt, cause I never wanted him starting from the beginning.

We need more quick route to offset the blitz... and did we even try one deep pass?

Yes. When the defense jumped offsides, Daunte had a green light and took a shot deep.
