Hook and Lateral? Fake Spike? One of the infamous wildcat plays?

We need a list. :hi5:

Lamar Smith OT run against the Colts in the playoffs in 2001.

Marino 35 yard TD to Fryar on 4th down 3 minutes left in '94 opener.

Louis Oliver 102 yard INT return for TD in Buffalo in '92.

AJ Duhe INT for a TD against the Jets in the AFC Championship game in '82

Just to name a few.

Larry Seiple, fake punt in '72 AFC championship game against Pittsburgh. I was six at the time, wearing my Dolphins gear proudly amongst a horde of Western PA Steeler drunks. Great Dolphin play, great childhood memory.

Hook and Ladder in the 82 Divisional Playoffs
Fake Spike
Oliver's INT Return against Buffalo
Fiedler's TD run against Oakland

mares 53 yd fg to beat Denver in 02 rickys 53 yrd run same year to beat the jets also trace Armstrong sack and fumble in the buffalo playoff game in 98 also the Lamar smith run vs the colts and the last wildcat play the long run in new England beacuse it was the start of A special year

I liked Zach's interception/flip into the endzone.

Fake spike has to be the top.

What about Gadsen's one handed catch over the middle in mid-air! on the dirt even. That got my butt off the couch when I saw that.

Fake Spike [Marino for a TD]

Nat Moore catch where he is hit in mid-air while fully extended laterally about 5 feet above the ground at full extention with his head to toe completely extended on a flat plane as if he was lying face down on the ground--except for being 5 feet in the air!--Nat Moore catches the ball, is spun around like a helicoptor blade 360 degrees and holds onto the ball.

Ricky Williams in his prime had an absolutely unbelievable run, but I can't recall the opponent off the top of my head.

Any 3rd and 1, 4th and inches, or goal line situation involving Larry Csonka ... simply the absolute best short yardage back that has ever lived. It was like that game from back in the day we all used to have, wehre these plastic player figures had tiny green fuzzy bases and the metal field vibrated, eventually it devolved into two masses of players slowly one would push the other pile in a random direction (often sideways!). In real life, you'd see Csonka slowly (he was damned slow) disappear into the pile of the other 20 players (QB just stood and watched), then you'd count to 2, the piles would rise slightly in the center, then the pile would begin to slowly move forward for however much was needed for the first down, then the pile would collapse, the whistle would blow, and the ref would announce Miami had a first down/touchdown. You could bet the house on it he was so incredibly reliable. He averaged over 3 yards per carry, but it was his 1 yard carries that made him a great runner. He'd literally pick up entire teams on his shoulders and piledrive entire defenses into the goal posts. Csonka was the greatest running FB that ever lived and the greatest blocking FB that ever lived ... first real freak of nature I've ever seen. Much stronger than Haloti Ngata in a smaller better leveraged package.

To this day those plays always make me laugh in awe.

there are too many great plays to pick one. I need help with mine. I seem to recall, and i believe it was in a super bowl, that with time winding down Coach Shula took a safety so that field position and the defense would take over. i am a little fuzzy on the facts but I do remember the announcers awed by the call and saying it was genius. If anybody does remember this with clarity, for I have CRS, and would like to expand ,I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance

You talking about the one against the Jets in the game where we broke that horrid losing streak? He OWNED them that day. I liked the one where he juked Rodney Harrison out of his socks too.
