You can only pick 1 game from any sport

My runner-up is in my AVY

My #1 Miami 45-28 over Pitt in the conference championship game in the 1984 seaon

So many to choose from...

Games I remember watching live: My runner up would have to be the Thanksgiving snow game against Dallas. #1 would be the 2005 NCAA championship game where the Heels beat Illinois.

My favorite of all time is the Monday night win over the Bears in 85'.

Hmmm, I got a few:

Marlins win GAme 7 in 1997. I was at the game, so it was amazing for me.

92, Jordan can't believe the shooting display he puts on vs. the Blazers, he has to shrug because he doesn't believe it either.

98 - Jordan's final minute as a Bull vs. The jazz . . he had a quick layup, stole the ball at the other end, and made the classic jumper . typical Jordan.

Best sports memory is the Red Sox winning the World Series in 2004.

Best game, gotta go with Game 4 of the 2004 ALCS, Sox vs. Yanks. The Roberts steal and Papi homer. Truly awesome.

Best game I've been to would either be Pedro Martinez's first Fenway Park start vs. Seattle in 1998. I believe he pitched a complete game getting Ken Griffey Jr. to fly out to 1st base to end it. He dominated that game. Or last year- July 31, 2005 at Fenway vs. Twins. It was Papelbon's first start so Fenway was already buzzing and mix that it with whether Manny was going to be traded. He wasn't in the starting line up but when Ortiz got walked Manny hit a pinch hit game winning RBI single in the 8th and the place went nuts. It was the loudest Fenway ever was in games I've been to.

January 1993: Alabama Crimson Tide defeat the heralded Miami Hurricanes with Heisman winner Gino Toretta. 34-13 final at the Sugar Bowl and the National Championship; I was a young kid, but I was there & will never forget it.

Runner-up would go to either Tiger Woods in the '97 Masters or the Yanks Championship run in '96.

If you are talking about a favorite game, it would be game 7 of the 1994 Stanley Cup finals. In that game the New York Rangers ended their 54 year drought without a championship. Everything seemed to go right for them in those playoffs.

If you are talking about my favorite sports moment, that would be when I had the chance to meet Gordie Howe at a local hockey game. His son was the head coach and Gordie was there to sign autographs and raise money for charity. Very cool guy.

"the waiting is over! no more 1940! the new york rangers are the stanley cup champions and this one will last a lifetime!"

Marlins beating the Yanks in Game 6 of the 2003 WS....and the Heat winning it all this year are up there..but my #1 moment probably would be when US beat Mexico 2-0 in the WC in 2002.
