most hardcore nascar fans don't hate Gordon because he's aggressive (if they do their hypocrites because that's how Dale Sr. drove), they have him because he came ino Nascar in his early 20's (about 10 year younger than most drivers), and had almost immediate success. You combine that wt the fact that he's not a southerner, he grew up an open-wheel racer, and he is(was) a pretty boy, and rednecks will hate him.
