I would really start to worry about the lingering injuries to Tebucky Jones and Travares Tillman. It looks to me that they have to shut down for a while. No more of this red jersey stuff. You let a hurt football player go on the field and, on instinct, he's going to want to make plays. Tebucky is really struggling with his injury. Lance Schulters is being brought along very, very slow. I would expect him to jump in hard next week. If he doesn't, that would be puzzling;
Rex Hadnot will go down as the best acquisition Rick Spielman ever made. If you read in between the lines of what Nick Saban said about Rex and Seth McKinny on Tuesday, it sounds to me as if Rex Hadnot has a bright future at center. Saban probably thinks Houck can make a good guard out of somebody, maybe even McKinney;
David Boston played much better on Tuesday. Still limping a little;

The reports I've read from Ozzy have stated that Crowder has been very impressive and is typically the first or second guy in on a play. Bedard has up until this point said that Crowder has disappointed. Since Saban pointed Channing out yesterday, Bedard seems to be backtracking.
Other than that, I think he is doing a good job.

AJ was injured and still kept the competition as close as it is?A.J. did throw some nice deep balls himself. I think his arm is starting to feel a little better;

I would really like to see if AJ really has it or not this year. IF he starts, there will be no excuses for him.Muck said:And is two years behind in the offense.
