CG is on pace for 68 catches which is one more then WW best with us. He is also on pace to gain approx 200 more yards on on more catch. AND of course he already tied WW's total TD's for that season.... 1....

I've got a big, soft spot in my heart for Camarillo.....BTW....Whne I'm long dead and buried, I'd hope some of you youngsters remember that catch. It was one of the biggest ever.

Thanks for pointing this out.

While I think that Welker is a great player, he was never more than an average player in Miami.

Then again, it's probably not really fair to compare them because Welker is a slot receiver while Camarillo is a No. 2 wideout.

I love Camarillo but I think this is more the product of Pennington's accuracy and decision making ability than anything.

kind of like welker is a product of Brady's decision making ability? :ponder:

If i remember correctly thats when he scored his first receiving touchdown.

I Think he will be a Great One here !

Was Greag starting during the first two game? I thought Hagan started or am I wrong?

Gotta like those "come out of nowhere to make it big in the NFL" stories like Wes Welker and Camarillo. Let's hope Camarillo can keep this up. Those free agents and low round picks don't realize that they DO have a shot at the bigtime if they keep working hard and impress the coaches. The coaches will give you a chance if you're consistently making plays. The coaches just want to WIN GAMES ... for their own job security. They're going to put the guys in the game that increase the odds of winning the most. Right now, Camarillo is looking pretty good with Sparano & Co. Consistency is the key though.

regardless of what stats welker put up here, he was always a play maker.. and im startin to like greg but i still dont think he is the gamer welker is

Ain't nostalgia grand?

The guy is already outproducing Welker in a Dolphins uniform (if you consider number of games played at this point in their careers) and scored a huge touchdown against a top-tier team, but he's somehow not the "gamer" that Welker is.

Don't forget Cam's 26 yard td i believe it was, beautiful corner route against asante samuels i think it was last year.

It's 4 games...we will see. Camarillo may replace Welker in people minds, but not after just 4 games...extrapolation taken to extremes is just nonsense...

lol people here amaze me, (personal attack) only thing good out of there was a beerhugger and a hat.

Welker could NOT BE COVERED as noted by many coaches we played against. Welker caught EVERYTHING his way even when our crappy qbs had .3 seconds to throw.

Welker is better than our recievers, get over it.

stats mean nothing.

You know, I liked Welker while he was here but I remember him for what he was. A scrappy WR that moved the chains for us. He was nothing special and if "HE COULD NOT BE COVERED" then why did he only score "ONE" TD while he was with us? 67 catches for 600 something yards is nothing special (IMO).

Welker is having more success in NE but that is only because of who is playing on the other side of the field with him (Moss).

again... these are just my opinions.
