Has anyone else read this article by Cote on how the Dolphins are scared to sign Vick? He is so broken up about this it's ridiculous. Maybe he didn't see the draft's 2nd round where we drafted a Qb for the Wildcat or maybe more? It's funny Vick has turned into an urban legend since he's been in jail. He's a much better Qb now than he ever was when he was playing. Sheesh, Give me a break.

He's just writing this to get a reaction and get his name out there. And to get hits and sell papers.

I'd say it worked.

If Vick gets another chance, then so should Onterrio Smith. I'm pretty sure the Whizzinator incident was less cruel or deadly in any sense than a dog-fighting ring. Plus, I don't think Smith strangled, electrocuted or hanged any dogs in obtaining said Whizzinator.
I'm all for second chances, but let's keep in mind that players have been permanently black-listed for much smaller offenses than Vick's before we make him a martyr.

It took me a few minutes to read the article and all I could think of was "those are a few minutes of my time I will never get back". About as valuable as used toilet paper.

If Vick ever became a Dolphin it would be very hard to watch them. But since it will not happen I have nothing to worry about.

Writers write to get a reaction so he has not lost his mind it seems. I was wondering if Miami would go for it, so why not Cote. He would be handled well by our management and might very well sign for low number sot get back in the game. But Vick has major baggage so it would not surprise to see Miami not get involved. Besides when did Parcells ever show his hand to the public. If they were interested they likely would not say so the day after reinstatement anyway for 10 different reasons.

What you would stop watching miami because they signed a player. Seems odd.

I, too, read the article and was wondering if the guy has any kind of standards he sets for the players on the team or does he not care as long as he has athletic ability. I say "athletic ability" because Vick is far from being a great signal caller. We don't need Vick and I think the team that picks him up deserves what they get.(I expect the Raiders to sign him any day now.);)

worst.article.ever.

can't believe he summed up the dolphins disinterest in vick as cowardice - it's like a real bad comedy - cowardice he says - hahahahahahaahahahahahaha - like character or the fact he hasn't played football in 2 years or the fact he wont be reinstated until at least the 6th game or the fact we drafted pat white to play the same position, didn't have anything to do with the decision

greg cote is a huge doucher
