Is it me or is there an increasing amount of "risk-taking" reporting going on out there? I never viewed Cote in that kind of thing, and certainly not SI, but both "appear" to be guilty this time. SI's report on Pace signing was completely wrong and there was little room there for error. Cote's situation may be more reflective of a front office doing damage control and firing a volley back at someone. We will probably never know. Interesting in all this is the silence of Jason Taylor. Adam S. from NFL Network speaks out about his staying earlier, and Cote chimes in, then Bill responds, but no Jason remarks.
