I believe that the mystery team that has been very interested in Hardy is our Miami Dolphins. With the addition of Suh , Hardy could flourish in this system. I'd give him a shot! Don't be surprised if we make a move for him. Imagine how great this defense could be!
 
I know we got to very good DEs right now In Vernon and Wake , just imagine if you put Hardy in that rotation, having a fresh pass rusher of the same caliber of Wake and Vernon every snap. If you want to beat Brady and Co. you got to get this defense nasty. Change of scenary is sometimes a great thing for a player , Wake and Suh would keep him in check and having Jason Taylor around Hardy might help put too.
 
See now Theres a bigggggggggggggggggggggg difference between A peterson and hardy....... Hardy physically abused his wife/girlfriend which is unacceptable for any man to do let alone a guy his size, smh....but A peterson case he was just being a father. All he did was whoop his kids ass when needed to, My parents did to me at a younger age too and im glad they did, i mean im no saint but at the same time i have sense. Look at society today most of these kids need a good ole azz whoopin maybe it wouldn't be so crazy.....so NO ThANKS TO HARDY, besides theres no room for him to play for us. He is DE and last time i checked we have vernon an wake at that position and shelby and jordan as back ups.

So....when you were a two year old baby did your parents draw blood on your body like Peterson's kid? Son, your parents were child abusers. You should seek counseling because you're in denial.

Not that it's right, but a woman can walk away if she doesn't agree with the abuse inflicted (in most cases, politically correct here) but a child is stuck in the situation with no way out.

It's all the same thing.... Physical abuse on both accounts.

Either way... if he's still around later on and comes super cheap, I'd see where his heads at and think about signing him once the backlash dies down.
 
Pretty sure Jordan is going to OLB, there is no bigger importance than to put the end to the New England Patriots , Tannebaum himself has been trying to do what our franchise has been trying for a decade , you got to upgrade this defense fast , it needs a new attitude , a different approach .

Doubt it we have 5 DE's as it is. Wake, Vernon, Jordan, Shelby, Fede.
 
Redemption .... Make counseling and volunteerism part of his deal. Get him, move Jordan to OLB and field the best Dline in the league.
 
first off the child was 4 not 2, and yea If you disrespect your parents at any age no matter what then you deserve to get that azz beat my friend, what you call abuse i call discipline and training the child early so he wouldn't go the wrong way. You discipline your child at an early age you wont have to worry much when they get older trust me. Some people do not discipline their child at an early age then wait until they are in their teens to try but then its tooo late, the child will do whatever they please to do...why because mommy and daddy thought it was child abuse for an ass whoopin


now i will admit imo, cable wires is a little much for a 4 year child, he could've used a belt but who am i, A peterson is the father let him discipline his child, we have no right to judge him and intervene with his parenting, we don't know the full story of it all, maybe he tried using belts but that just didn't work and when belts dont work you gotta up the azz whoopings a notch before its too late
 
I think its a case by case situation.

I do not know the Greg Hardy situation here - but what little I have heard on this thread it does not bode well for him.

It is very psychopathic to beat your primary partner in life.

What Peterson did sounded like it had other components to it then the dominant subordinate control drama that spousal abuse often entails.

Peterson was publicly very remorseful and stated that he was beaten in the same way he beat his son.

He indicated this was all he knew how to do. I am not excusing him - just wondering if Peterson would be more open to learning from his mistake.

Beating your girl often is laced with a kind of psychological fusion in the couple where both partners are invested in keeping a cycle in motion.

People who get invested in this kind of abusive cycle learn how to lie, cheat, manipulate and keep from getting known.

It did not seem like Peterson was behaving that way. He was terribly misguided, ignorant, programmed to hurt a helpless child, but almost more following some thoughtless way of being then deliberately creating a false persona to be in a psychopathic world with another human being.

I could be wrong - I do not know enough - but from little I get from these two stories this is my initial read.

What makes the matter more complicated is the NFL is a violent, ruthless game, controlled by a psychopathic front office that exploits the players with the BS that they somehow care about the players. In the meantime rules are actually relatively arbitrary to fit the NFL's bottom line.

Both wife abuse and child abuse are out right now...because of public backlash and the NFL's bottom line.

Also Philbin had a son who by my best guess was born a psychopath so he is sensitized to not bringing them around.

People can be born that way to very healthy parents - just like a child with autism is born to healthy parents - no rhyme or reason.
