he has declined, but is still useful.

also a leader and loves philbin.

For a low cost I would be all over this. Thoughts?

ps... shoulda signed him 2 years ago

I wanted him in 2013. I like him as a player. Very much preferred him to Wallace. I think he still has something in the tank and could be a good fit for us.

HOWEVER, is he a locker room cancer? I don't know. But remember the controversy with his sister claiming that Greg made Aaron Rodgers and not the other way around? Maybe we have another basket case on our hands. Didn't we just flush out three turds?

THAT SAID, he was still pretty effective on a per target basis in 2014 for the Vikings. Once Teddy Bridgewater got rolling in the offense, Jennings played solid ball.

I would absolutely look at him on a CHEAP contract. 6 million a year tops, maybe? In all honesty, if we were to swap out Hartline/Wallace for Jennings/Stills for 6.5 million dollars, that wouldn't be bad.

So much for Minnesota not targeting DeVante Parker at #12. Guess that's still in play for them.

so we wouldwould get the 5th round pick and Jennings for mw and 7th.. plus salary cap relief
Not bad :ponder:

At best hes a #2 wr at this stage...definitely has declined since he went to minnesota...

1 year stop gap option to ease in a rookie...but nothing more. Still not a bad option though..

No way they sign that guy, not even to a vet min contract.

He is a talker, remember all the idi0tic things he had to say to the media about Rodgers when he left the Packers?

He said he loved philbin while he was looking for a new team.

I agree that if we signed him, he should NOT be considered a long term solution or even a top tier type of player. But he can still be productive. I would probably pay him Brian Hartline money (though that is like the top end of what I'd pay him) and the team would be much better in 2015 than 2014 with that swap.

I still can't believe we signed Brian Hartline to that contract...

Oh without a doubt, but on a low/mid end 2 year deal he could offer plenty, especially with such a young inexperienced receiver group.

We just need a big bodied sure handed wr at this point, personally I would love Fitzgerald but that's dreaming lol...

I would absolutely look at him on a CHEAP contract. 6 million a year, maybe? Absolutely. In all honesty, if we were to swap out Hartline/Wallace at 18 million dollars in 2015 for Jennings/Stills for 6.5 million dollars, that would be highway robbery on the rest of the NFL.

man thats harsh, if we count family members as a locker room cancer, we have a guy who would never play in the NFL ever again

Personal note on Greg Jennings: was around him two years, as solid and high character as they come. Good man.
