If Jim Mora is hired will he bring in his best buddy Greg Knapp as the OC?

Greg Knapp was a candidate for the Oakland Raiders job until Jim Mora got the Atlanta Falcons job.

The Falcons hired Jim Mora because of Greg Knapp.

Dante Culpepper left the Minnesota Vikings because Brad Childress was hired as Head Coach from the Philadelphia Eagles and didn't want to learn the West Coast offense. Greg Knapp runs the WCO.

Another thing to keep in mind Jim Mora wanted his friend Mike Mularky to be his offensive line coach before he got a better offer from the Dolphins.

not thread worthy at all

Most posters want an offensive minded HC. If the Dolphins hire Jim Mora, Greg Knapp is part of the package. He has worked with Steve Young and Jeff Garcia. Knapp has a better CV than Brian Schottenheimer as an OC.

i dont see how we could sign mora...he has no idea how to run the 3-4 in which what Capers will be running

I don't know what to think of Mora, I kinda think he was bullied into throwing the ball. How do you ignore the best rushing attack in the league and go with the worst passing attack instead?? Something doesn't add up.

If Jim Mora is hired. I don't think I could support the Dolphins anymore. I currently live in Atlanta and I felt Mora never had full control of the team. Throw Greg Knapp into the mix - I think I'll throw up.

Mike Vick was a bad fit for the WCO.

Greg Knapp ran a balanced offense with the San Francisco 49ers.

The Falcons were run heavy because Vick can't throw.

If the Dolphins bring in Jim Mora and Greg Knapp they should sign Matt Schaub.

Jim Mora never had full control of the team since day one. Arther Blank is an meddling owner and Rich McKay is an ego maniac.

Falcons will discard Vick before they discard Schaub. We went calling last year, before all the Culpepper hoopla, for Schaub and the Falcons answered the phone with a "We want two first rounders" greeting. Thanks but no thanks.

If it comes down to Mora being the coach with knapp as OC or Schotty as coach and Garrett as OC my vote goes to Schotty/Garrett. My heart will sink if we pick Mora after all those interviews

Schaub is a UFA...The falcons got ALOT invested in Vick.

I like schaub..I wanted Miami to draft him...i am for signing schaub at a reasonable price although it most likely will be expensive so id past if thats the case.

Matt Schaub ran the WCO at Virginia and under Gregg Knapp with the Falcons. The WCO and Knapp are now gone. I don't know how Bobby Petrino feels about Schaub. I'm guessing Petrino keeps both QB's for another year before naming his QB of the future. Vick is his QB today.

If that's the case I'm wit chu- sign the guy. But as you alluded to, he'll probably want the money and we don't have it to spend. It would be better served going to a shutdown CB, mauller OL, or blitzing OLB.

Money isn't the problem. The problem is Schaub is a RFA and the Falcons will put a high tender on Schaub. I doubt any team will give up a first and third round pick for a QB who has won zero games in the NFL.

The Bears might because they are drafting at the bottom of round one. The Dolphins can't give up a top ten pick.
