I was at last night's game (6/23) and today's game (6/24.) Let me just say, I've never felt the emotion and buzz at a sporting arena that I felt this weekend. I miss the hell out of Junior and this weekend was the coolest thing ever. Then when he decided to hit 2 homeruns in the rubber match today. What a weekend, it was awesome! I'll have some pictures up soon.

On another note, Junior said he'd be open to a trade to Seattle to close his career a Mariner. If this happens, I'll be the happiest person on earth!

Ken Griffey Jr. No asteriks here.

meh i doubt it.......im sure he wants to go to a winner......maybe his last year in seattle but if he wants to come back now i'd take him...helll ya

Joonyah is the man, I'd KILL to have him back in Seattle.

Here's some pics.

I hope if he goes to the AL he gets to DH.

I know in his day he was a great CF, but with all his injuries it could extend his career 3-4 years....

If Griffey went to the AL to DH where he could stay healthy, they could still get 7 more years out of him and he'd have a shot at cracking 700.

Me too, and had Griffey been healthier in his stint with the Reds he probably would have a shot at passing Aaron. He's always been a classy guy anyway and it's hard to argue that he wasn't the best player in Baseball during the 1990's.

i think 95% of baseball fans would rather griffey break the record over bonds

Actually, I wouldnt be surprised if the number is even higher than that. I am not even sure the fan-base in San Fran is on his side that much, cept they have a chance of watching history....

Griffey has been nothing but absolute class his entire career. I was touched to see the fans in Seattle actually give him a huge standing ovation...very touching indeed...

Imagin growing up knowing nothing but Ken Griffey Junior and then to be in the park all weekend. One of the most special weekends of my life and I'll never forget it.
