I saw Grisby in for a couple of plays last night but it appeared that Sheets got many more of the carries.
Whats everyone opinion of what is happening at that position?
I just do not see us going into the season with just Thomas, Bush and Hillard this year along with Polite and we certainly need better insurance than just Sheets or Grisby in case say Thomas goes down like Leshure and Ryann already have.

i like grigsby more but honestly i haven't seen anything from either one of them that i don't think i can find on the street should i have an injury to a bush etc..i think i'd look to other teams cuts before i put either one of them in pen on my roster...hell sheets i'd cut and if i had an injury i'm very confident i could find him on the streets down the road if need be...grigsby i would likely try to get on the p squad...

I think both could bring things to this team. Both are speed backs with decent size. Grigsby is raw but fast and I would practice squad him unless he could win a spot though kick returns. I would hope that with all the talk that Kory Sheets does have something to back it up Sheets is returning from a injury so we need a little time to see if he has anything worth keeping.

Hillard plays good special teams so he is a lock.

I think L Polite is gone if C.Clay shows anything. C.Clay is the future, L.Polite is the past.

R Bush is our only veteran so he is going to be huge for us in our running game.

D Thomas is going to have to get NFL proven and add to the running game.

Last season we had two running backs, Ricky and Ronnie, that could make plays. This season we have 4.

I don't see either making the team. Neither has flashed for me and Grisby can be stashed on the PS. I would scour the waiver wire because there seems to always be a RB waived due to number crunch for other teams.

Not really impressed with either one i think this is where we find somebody after cuts..
Though our oline backup backups haven't been giving them too much space to run through..

I think both guys are going to lose to the waiver wire pickup, if we even keep somebody behind Hilliard.

Both guys are good, Sheets makes the team with Grisby on the PS...I like our back field.....when the OL gets a couple of more weeks together you will see how good these kids are.....

Only based on the optimism of this board. Every year since I've been on finheaven there has been some star young running back who is just waiting to be the next be thing. Every year there are disappointed people on finheaven when said running back, who did nothing in preseason, gets cut because they are nothing.

I've seen some nice highlights of Sheets before he had gotten injured last year, and I haven't seen anything since. If we see something, then great, but until then, they haven't been wowing everyone in practice, and they haven't done anything worthwhile in games to make them worth retaining.

I agree. And it looks weird to see #23 on Sheets.

I don't think they've shown enough to stick on the team. But, maybe now that the OL is working better together, they will look better in the last two games.

They haven't shown me a thing....maybe I'm just missing something.

Who's Green Bay cutting? They draft well, so maybe some RB talent will fall from their tree.
