Gruden QB Camp w/ Tannehill w/ Video

That is a fun vid to watch. Gets you excited to see him in action sooner than later.

Great video. It does get you excited. If groomed properly he could be a stud. I hope the fans can be patient. I know fpr myself I want him brought in properly and not thrown to the wolves. what is another year of waiting to have a great qb for the next 10 years.

Tannehill will be the opening day starter.

He already owns the offense. He'll learn on the job.

Doubt Sherman will be running his same offense at Miami. So we can't say he knows the offense. Moore knows these players, so he should undoubtedly be the game one starter. Although Tannehill is a first round talent, Moore is a NFL player that has been playing NFL defenses for a few years. Let Tannehil sit.....at least 2 years.

Come on guys, you all know he isn't Luck. Moore deserves it at this point.

I didn't realize the offense at Texas A&M had so many NFL elements. My favorite part of the video is Gruden pointing out that Tannehill has the most 7-step drops and out routes of anyone he watched. He's a little more NFL ready than I had initially thought. Still think he should sit at least half the year.

I love the way Omar basically transcribes the whole piece in a way to make him look like he knows what he's talking about.

what a route by fuller, omg, froze everyone

"DINO"= Nasty!

Loved the way you claim it is omar transcribing the piece.

There is a thread on this somewhere..........And all of these are on the same page at YouTube.

Gruden does love every QB. These are "feel good" meetings with him that college QBs now prepare for.

However this did make me feel better about the pick. Running a spread option WCO is ..uh...different, lol. I like that he throws a lot of outs which is a hard pass to complete. There is a long list of "great" college QBs, in fact, Heisman winners who never made it in the NFL because they could not throw this route. He does need experience and to get used to the speed of the NFL game. NFL cornerbacks are going to fool him into a lot of interceptions until he wises up.

Without us drafting OT J Martin, he would never see a 7 step drop playing for the Dolphins.

I also like the one with Brock Osweiler, I now really hate the Broncos but they drafted smart with that pick. He is a stud and I would have been very happy with him but we really almost had to take Tannehill. If we could of had a magic 2 rounder I would of loved to double down with Tannehill and Osweiler but OT J Martin was the pick I was begging for and is maybe our only instant starter.

I got around to watching the video last night, and I must say I was VERY impressed with Tannehill. I also enjoyed how he went out and was showing the recievers how to run the "dino", and how he didn't do it in a jerkish way.

This videos are great to see the personality of these QBs. Luck seemed really dorky to me. Weirded me out. I liked Osweiler, Cousins and Griffin. But Tannehill was very different from anyone else. He was so quiet, yet knowledgeable and intense. I'm not surprised to see he learned the Dolphins playbook in three hours.

If I had a choose a QB based on that interview among those 5, he'd be the one.

Luck is kind of goofy. Ironically, he's replacing a bit of a dufus personality-wise in Manning. That didn't do Peyton any harm in his career, I'm not convinced it'll be an impediment to Luck either. But he's definitely a bit dorky.
