Gruden's camp: Earl Thomas

This made great television last night. Only bolstered my feelings about Thomas, the kid is a stud and is going to be a great NFL safety.

The other thing that came to my mind watching Gruden in these segments is, how the hell is he not currently a coach somewhere?

Oh ya, that one play they were going over where he jumped the short route instead of runnign with the longer route was simply amazing.

Man I saw that on ESPn and I thought to myself, we HAVE to either draft him or get trade-value for that pick because he is a future Pro Bowler IMO at minimum. And he will be better sooner than Eric Berry. ROY.

Quick recognition, instinctive player.
 
I would be extremely happy with Thomas. Not the heavy hitter like Berry, but a great ball hawking safety. I think he will be a very solid player in the NFL. IMO.
 
It was impressive when he jumped the cut route instead of going for the deep route.

If we do move down - losing out on potential picks like Thomas, Morgan, and Graham - we had better be sure J. Hughes will be there. I'm very nervous about losing out on a top-tier pass rusher for the sake of an extra pick.
 
lol by the end of it thomas seems to want to get the hell out of there
 
I love Chucky Gruden's brutal honesty. He tells these guys exactly what he thinks. E. Thomas is my 2nd choice if we don't take Brandon Graham.
