Guess we're going with Cobbs long term

Hadn't seen this mentioned anywhere other than the related reference to our 6'8" TE pickup, but we've decided to waive the other RB we drafted. First Hilliard is out, now we've waived Parmele. Guess we're sticking with Cobbs as our third back.

Here's hoping Ronnie and Ricky put in a full season!

i thought parmele showed some real potential at running back. I wanted to actually see what he could do. Oh well as long as ronnie and ricky are healthy

I wanted to see Parmele do well also, but I have to figure that Cobbs has really wowed the FO and won his spot on the depth chart.

Cobbs has played well. If Ricky or Ronnie go down expect us to sign another big back to hammer the ball through the line.

Hilliard is on the PS, so Cobbs may not be here "long term". Also it wouldn't surprise me if they sign Parmele to the PS too.

Parmele and Hilliard are both on the practice squad, so they are still part of the organization, and could be activated at any time if there were an injury at the position.

there was another post just now with a link to one of the Miami papers....didn't click the link, just took it a face value cause I expected that if he wasn't claimed he'd go on the practice squad
