Try to guess the games that were wins just based off of team rushing attempts...

Hmmm I wonder. And if defenses are dropping LBs to mess with depth of route, timing etc, Tua needs to tuck it and run like he started doing last night. If LBs are dropped shouldn't there be a ton of available green in front of him? Once teams respect a threat of a run, it should open routes back up.

Also, any status on Jeff Wilson....even though we don't bother using him when he is healthy?

A note to Mike McDaniel

The 49ers scheme, which is what you are meant to be running, and were the run game coordinator for, is predicated on having a RUNNING game.

The running game sets up everything in that system.

Look at what the 49ers did to us, with a backup QB, and then just did to Tampa, who is a good running defense. They still come out and try to run the ball. 209 yards rushing.

Makes things easy for the rookie QB too.

Miami is one dimensional. Mike McDaniel got arrogant. He thought Tua and his offense became Pat Mahomes and the KC Offense, and tried to run it that way. Video game. Throw throw throw. First play against the Chargers, who cannot defend the run, deep ball. And then two more passes and out. Tua is not Pat Mahomes. He is not that QB. He cannot be back there trying to throw every play. Same thing last week against the 49ers. Plus if that happens, he will get killed. It is beyond me what McDaniel is thinking. He has gotten carried away. The whole structure of the 49ers offense he is trying to roll out there is predicated on being able to run. Tua is not Pat Mahomes. The whole thing is idiotic. Grow up. This is not Madden football, and Tua is not that guy.

Further, this team is video game soft. Both sides of the ball. Not equipped to ever win in the playoffs the way this thing is structured. Zero chance. Not to mention, it was 55 degrees in LA, and the Dolphins had propane heaters on their sideline. Embarrassing. Just a soft team. A video game team, not a real football team. They need to learn to nut up. I would start with a new DC for next year, and learning how to be tough and run the football as well.

Amen! With all of it. Tua shouldn't be expected to do everything. The throw, throw, throw first three and out made me worried from the start.
We keep dialing up low percentage plays a large percentage of the time. We are not setting ourseleves up for success. I feel like these last two works McDaniel was trying to show the world "look what I can do" instead of game planning a winning strategy.
There are other routes than go routes and deep posts and other play calls than passing ones. Even just getting waddle involved is non-existent.
