During his closing commentary on the new edition of HBO’s Real Sports, host Bryant Gumbel had a few words to say about running back Ricky Williams.

Some of these sports commentators, reporters, guru's are simply miscast. Gumble is definitley one of them.

well,we all know that Ricky's one of the best backs in football when he plays and wants to play;i think he'll be motivated to play hard with Parcells in charge and seeing the direction our Dolphins are headed in.

Im rooting for Ricky, but its so hard to trust him....Hes done this before, try and come back and end up failing a drug test....I hope to goodness he has finally learned and has his life straighten out

I am hoping Ricky Williams can redeem himself in Miami because he seems like a genuinely good hearted person.

None of us have walked in Ricky's shoes and probably not experienced his problems, he dealt with it in a way he seems to regret but at the time he felt it was his best option.

He was accepted back as a Dolphin by Nick Saban, Cam Cameron and Bill Parcells, I doubt those three are all wrong and all the Ricky haters are all correct.
