Gus and A.J press conf

Gus actually believes that he didnt play that bad and seems to be very unhappy that he has not been named the dolphins starting quarterback. It also seems that saban is mad that he cant beat out A.J
 
The fact that the QB competition is this close is a total indictment of Gus Frerotte. We are talking about a player who knows the offensive system and have known it FOR 2 YEARS vs. a guy who has only known if for a few months. He should have totally pulled away from Feeley by now and because
he has not, he does not deserv the job in my opinion. And I challeng anyone of you and coach Saban to convince me otherwise.

:eek: Someone please explain why Saban would defend Gus and come out and say that the rest of the offense is so far behind him and that is the reason for his poor play.If that is the case then the same excuse should go for AJ when he overthrows a reciever or they drop one of his passes.
 
Why don't we just start Gus and get this qb competition over with and draft someone next year. In my opinion it doesn't matter who starts.
 
well, its not like the other players have been playin lights out. For either Qb for that matter. Mcmicheal was so bad against Pitt and invisible the first two games that I dont think anyone can really assess anything at this point with any certainty. Gus knows the offense yes, but do the others? Were talking about ten other guys who need to be on the same page and do their jobs. If Feeley were the guy you would want the same thing. Its about the team not about one guy. Gus cant be blamed for everything, but Its so cool to pick on the guy with a funny name and a backup most of his carreer. If I were a Feeley guy, I wouldnt be so much worried about who starts the season, but who finishes it. You know Something is going to happen to Gus at some point and time so If Feeley wants to make an impression, he should do so by being patient and waiting for the whole team to come into sinc.

If Gus goes 13-21 and 250 yards and no Int's is that good enough? If not what is? what will the limit be for you and others that you will just surprisingly turn around and support Gus? My guess is nothing. Nothing will ever prove anything to you because people are so stuck on someone because they dont represent the kind of QB in the NFL that screams "hey look at my QB, we are so good!" whatever. It is what it is............Next year we get a QB. Thats all there is to it.
