he's 34, that's retirement age for an NFL QB. AJ needs to start.

That's funny, i don't remember the NFL ever making a time limit for QB's.

Hey buddy, some guys are like 38 and still trucking.

Let us remember Gus is here to play this year. One year at a time, we'll worry about next year when the time comes. If that is the case we might as well get rid of JT, ZT, Chester, Bowens, Madison, and anyone who is getting older.

If Dan came out of retirement, would you still say this ?

Oh, and quit saying he's too old. I'm almost that age. ;)

Warren Moon, Vinny Testerverde, Doug Flutie, the list goes on and on. The only players who could be older would be kickers and punters.

Hey man what's up?

Good point, I'm pretty close myself

Brett Favre was 35 last year. Trent Green was 34. Both finished in the top five in pass attempts, completions and yards.

And consider Steve Young. he didn't secure his starting job until age 31 -- yet he was ridiculously productive through age 37.

Age ain't nothing but a number, man.

ok, he just seems too old to me. I stand corrected. I think several years ago we had a shot at Green.

What a waste. :nono:

Kudos to you. It's so rare to see someone post a thread and then admit when he may have mispoken.

Good for you man.

he's not too old and he's not the QB of the future. he is a fill-in for a year or two and the QB we draft in the upcoming draft *cough*Omar Jacobs*cough* will be our future QB and then our offense should be set
