I know they are college coaches but they are proven and highly experienced in the college ranks. One day a college coach is going to be successful in the nfl it's just a matter of time.

I know it didn't work out with Saban but I'm open to try it again. Miami went with Philbin, Sparano, hell even Jimmy Johnson couldn't win much and he had Marino. This franchise needs to find the right guy once and for all and I think one of those two coaches could possibly work out. I don't want a retread coach, do you?

Weird way to spell Dan Campbell :p

Seriously i know its a long shot and we will probably end up with a reject jets coach, but i cant help but root for Dan right now

Malzahn could be an exciting hire, but i was under the imoression that he would be hard to acquire

Yeah. Let's give the guy who is auditioning a fair shake here, IMO. He's got 12 games, that's a pretty good sample size for the NFL. Let's see what happens.

if Campbell can hire great coordinators, I like him

if he can't I smell Fistpump II, the Crappening

I would like Dan Campbell to work out but in case it doesn't these are the coaches that I would look at.

If the players really want to send the message that Joe was the problem I expect them to play their butts off for Campbell.
Also everything's on tape and a lots of guys have huge contracts another coach might decide to get rid of.

I bet he does well and makes it hard to bring in another coach. Note: I have been more wrong that right about coaches in the past so .........

I must say, if Campbell can play aggressive football and get the team pumped up, if we manage to hire Schwartz and Lazor pulls his head out of his ass and starts calling half sensible plays, i could see the team improving pretty quickly

A few big ifs though

NFL defense already caught up Brian Kelley, SEC did the same with Malzahn. Just like the NFL caught up the fancy new offense called the run-n-shoot years ago.

The last dramatic change that lasted in the NFL was Bill Walsh and the WCO.

Agree. At one point, I'd have been all for Gus. Now? Not so much. I have floated the name Gary Patterson a few times already. The only other college coach that intrigues me is.... Mark Dantonio.

Harblow or Urban

Urban IMO will not leave the college ranks.

Even, The WCO has morphed.

His name is Jimmy Johnson, and he did it a while ago

Actually there were a few more but JJ stands out, with better leadership (in other words Jerry Jones NOT acting as GM), that team should've had 4-5 superbowl wins easy.

As an Auburn fan I'm sick of Gus Malzahn. I want his ass gone!! Auburn is 6-7 in their last 13 games because Malzahn has no idea what the hell defense is. On offense his playcalling is complete trash and he doesn't gameplan his offense to fit his personnel. He's a terrible head coach. No way do I want him in Miami. He's not an NFL type head coach. Not by a long shot. He's not even a college head coach. He needs to take his offense and go back to coaching high school football in Arkansas. Maybe that's a level he can coach at and not embarrass his team!
