I think we should give Sage a shot over the last 7 games. We're 3-6, 0-3 in the division, 1-4 in the conference. It's pretty much a done deal that we're not going to make it. Why not see what the kid's got if anything for next year? I know there will be those that say "but we're only 2 games out of the division lead" but the reality is that we're probably not going to get any closer than we were today w/ or w/o Frerotte. Personally, it would be a lot more fun w/ Sage in because it would be nice to see if we have anything there.

Gus played great is passes were great, chambers could'nt pull the last pass in.
I say keep gus.

Honestly, id sign terrel owens for the rest of this year if somehow he became available.

i also think we should give sage a chance, i was very pleased with frerotte performance today, but we need to know if sage really has anything

I'll ignore the TO comment since he should never

see a football field again...but more importantly...why not Sage...
we are 3-6...winless in the division...why not see what there is to keep? I'm fine with that...you can still try and win football games with young players...

Right now, I know I like Ronnie Brown...
but other than that...I don't know what else is worthwhile...especially out of young players...

I agree. Miami needs to know what they have in Sage and Lemon. Are they worth anything? Maybe they have what it takes to out-perform Gus? We will never know though, unless they play them.

That means his next 4-5 will be crummy. He is usually good for 2-3 good games a season and he's had 2 already.

i wanted sage badly this week and i would like ot see him....but i want to keep gus in there more, if we want to win i have a feelign hes our best chance, he threw for 300 plus yards i believe and 2 touchdowns, i say keep him in there

Maybe late in the season, but to start Sage this early isn't good for morale on the team. There's still 7 games left and that would mean we're throwing in the towel. Just for morale, we gotta keep putting the players on the field that have proven to give us the best chance to win.

Saban will probally start Gus next week and even throw in sage when needed. But as much as owens might be a cancer to a team if he would to come back, i would see miami as an option for him.

ya let's bench a guy who threw 360 + 2 tds.
that'll be great for team morale and chemistry.
especially when sage comes in an stinks and we have to go to Lemon...and then back to Gus

i think we should give him a long contract w/ not a huge bonus, because we can cut him anytime and not have to pay him.

Gus has earned the right to be starting still even though we recieved a loss today. I feel we will see Gus for a lot more of the season considering we have Cleveland next week and if he keeps his rhythm going I am not saying a playoff spot but he might even earn his way back here next year if he plays the way he did today every week.

Gus led the league today in yards with 360. He completed over 50% of his passes and threw two touchdowns compared to one interception. Don't forget the drops by Chambers and the fumble by McMichael inside the 10. Gus should start next week. Period!
