for the wildcat! Why not break it out vs the pats? He did it at osu and was HS qb. I also think Ginn will have a big game vs those corners, what do you guys think?

Ive been saying it ever since we started it.. I think he should take the snap atleast once or be throw too.. He has the skills to run or pass it!! lets see it.. like the browns do with cribbs

cribbs is quick not that fast
and ginn is fast and not that quick.
A direct snap is not using him best the reverse where he gets the ball with a head start is better suited for him.
That being said I have been waiting for him to get involved in it

so ronnie ricky cobbs in the backfield like against seahawks, ginn sweeps takes a handoff behind the oline and ronnie and cobbs can block... hit a seam route with fasano?
i think ginn should try a throw...maybe even twice in the game if he completes the first one..

i think a ginn run/throw option is another wrinkle that needs to be deployed

Interesting guys. Never thought of Ginn on the play. I like it.

all i know is we have to throw out of the wildcat again at some point cause defenses are just going to go all out on it soon.

Disagree on Cobbs not being fast. Did you see the screen he had in the Houston game?

I agree. I'd also love to think that we've been holding off on some of those special wildcat wrinkles just for the cheaters on Sunday :)

To run the wildcat you need someone that can run over defenders, which i don't think Ginn will do, Ronnie is the man.

I actually predicted ronnie and teddy running the option to one of my friends... ronnie taking the snap with Teddy as the option back.... i know the option hasnt been known to be successful in the nfl, but hey.. you never know... or better yet.. option pass.. if ronnie pitches to teddy and he throws the ball, i might poop myself....

What about taking Pennington out of the wildcat & replacing him with an extra RB/WR? I know this would let the opposing team know what was coming before their players take the field - But to a certain extent the element of surprise has already gone from the formation. One more guy to go to on the field has got to be worth something, and (except for the pass to Cobbs) Pennington is pretty much a spare wheel in the play.

Hold on..Let me get this straight....This is advocating putting our one WR that is a threat to go deep in the backfield where he will be exposed to possibly being hit by 300+ pound linemen? And throwing the ball, whic I eriously doubt is his best attribute....Hmm. Nope. Don't like that idea at all.

It will tip the package that much sooner.
