Guys just enjoy the big win at New England

All I know is if we put forth that same effort every week we aren't more than a 8 or 9 win team.

In the end only the win matters, but if we put up 16 more games like that one we will struggle to have a winning record this year.

New England really did lose the game more than we won it.

Some of you wanted to trade Parker and X. Only reasons we won today.

Not as pretty as I would of liked however big win. Few plays kept this from being a bigger win.

1. that be roughing the passer which gave NE their TD gave them extra points. I don’t see how that was a penalty at all…

2. Drops. While he played great Waddle had a crucial drop on 3rd down which would of got us another 3 points atleast. Parker had another drop that would of got us 3 points as well although that was a much harder contested catch. Think Gesicki had one as well when he was wide open up the seam.

3. Fantastic play by NE db. Tua had a perfect pass to Wilson for TD but the defender just made a perfect play to get a hand on it.

That’s the way football goes but easily could of been a 10+ win if a few more things go our way. Obviously we all wanted Tua to throw for 2 more tds and a hundred more yards with no int in a blowout win but I’m happy with the win. 1st place in the division after beating a team that probably has the best home record over the last 20 years or so is a huge win.

I thought the effort was great, the execution needs work. We won that game with a turnover at crunch time.....I'll take this win in Foxborough any day!

So we go on the road, against a veteran team coached by Bill Bellecheat with a very young squad and new Offensive coaches and win. People still whine and bi+ch? This was critical in our development as a football team to take the next step in learning process on how to win games under durress, much like the '71 Phins who came from perennial loser/doormats to a powerful adversary for the next 5 years. My advice would be to savor this victory, as we have suffered for more than 2 decades of mediocrity, and watch the growth occur and this young team develop. We aren't there yet but we're moving in the right direction. Now we can't start 0-2...

I was waiting for the 'we didn't win, the pats lost' comment...no disappointment there on this board

Just to play devil's advocate here, let's be honest.

If the Dolphins would've held the Pats to 260 yards of total offense, out gained the Pats by 140 yards, held the ball for 13 minutes longer than the Pats, had 8 more first downs than the Pats did, went 11-16 on third down conversions, had to settle for a few field goals in the Red Zone or close to it, had 8 penalties, and lost on a fumble while driving inside the 35 with 3 minutes or so to play, every single one of us, myself included, would be crying that we outplayed the Pats and should've won the game, but we "beat ourselves".

I consider myself a relatively passionate fan for the past almost 50 years so I do not understand the amount of negative Nelly posts this team sees even after a hard fought win. I yell at the screen and have broken a few remotes in my day but I get over it in about 30 seconds and start screaming support again.

I've cursed my family by basically forcing them to support the Dolphins with me. We all wear our game day jerseys, my one dog's name is Phin, my daughter even made aqua and orange macaroons to get us through the day.

Enjoy the team, enjoy the victory and keep the whining to yourself...until we all whine together when we really need it.

And thank you for starting this happy post.

For sure. It's a win in New England against a Bill Bellicheck team.

It wasn't a thing of beauty, but Miami came up big in the end on the strip and fumble recovery by X. Howard.

Seems like a long time since the Dolphins opened with a win.
The hidden beauty in this victory was that when "push came to shove" we were the team that did the "pushing" - LOL

New England is 16-4 on week 1 since 2001...well 16-5 now. Beating them was no easy task even without Brady Bill Belichick is kinda good at coaching defense. His defense held the Ram's #2 offense to 3 points in the SB and the GSOT Rams with HOF multiple HOF talent on offense to 17 points in 2001. I'm going to enjoy this win just like I enjoyed my 1st time with a lady. Maybe it wasn't pretty but it felt nice.
For you, it did...😉😆😅
