we would be in the playoffs by now!.. all Losman had to do was to run and be careful and throw but no! he had to fumble. dolphins should have been in! now we have to battle next week!

Yeah the Pats would still be in it. We would have needed Loseman to make the play to beat the Jets and the Pats to have lost that game to the Seahawks in Week 14 to have sealed a playoff spot this week.

It will be the gift that keeps on giving for years to come. If it really happens, I will be sure to bring it up to every so-called Patriots "fan" I come across. Only the real fans will care. The others will be too busy finding another bandwagon to jump on.

Had we beaten the crappy Texans we would be in.....but you can always play the "what if" game. The Jets have looked like crap as of late....if we cannot beat them, we don't deserve to go to the playoffs. We just have to make sure that when Favre is throwing his usual crap Hail Marys that our d-backs make the picks this time around.

If the Pats miss the playoffs, all we will hear about is how the NFL's playoff system is flawed. It will rival the college, BCS vs. playoff, controversy. ESPN, NFL Network, Deon Sanders, and Randy Cross (if he can ever stop talking about Ricky's fumble) will all be making a big stink over it.

Regardless if you have 11 wins, you should be in the playoffs. I know it is the Pats and I sure do hate them, but they deserve to be in the postseason. I would much rather see them go 3-13 and miss the playoffs.
Remember how bad it sucked being left out with 10 wins?
I can't believe I am saying this, but I would feel sorry for pats fans.
If I have sympathy for fairweather cheaters, you know the system has to be flawed.

Jets should have lost to the Bills and the Pats should have last to the Seahawks. It didn't happen and I know the Dolphins are ready to take matters into their own hands.

Yeah but you can say WE should have lost to the Seahawks, and the 49ers, and the Raiders and Rams. They all had chances at the end there just like the Hawks did against New England and the Bills did against the Jets.
Although the Bills complete meltdown with the lead and inside of 3 minutes left was inexcusable, that game i will say the Jets should have lost.

The Seahawks were leading against the Pats most of the game and Wallace had the Hawks within 30 yds of a game winning Field Goal when it looked like their DT beat the snap count and caused a fumble. Looked like he was offsides and it wasn't called.
No. Just no. They get no sympathy. If they miss the playoffs at 11-5, it will be for one reason: they weren't good enough. The same reason they lost the Super Bowl.
Which playoff team would deserve it less? Not the Titans or Steelers, clearly. The Colts? They beat New England this season. The Ravens? They'll be 11-5 too, if they make it.
So who's left? Just the AFC West winner. Let's not forget that the Chargers beat the Pats earlier this year. If San Diego makes it and New England doesn't, the Pats season will include losses to the Dolphins, Chargers, Colts and Steelers: four of the six AFC playoff teams. The only non-playoff team to have beaten them will be the Jets. The Patriots have had their chances, and failed.
Screw them.
