Hadnot & Bell hit free agency

I really wish we would bring Rex back, same with Yeremiah but in a backup/special teams role.

Sux, I'd like to see them keep Rex.

he got abused to much for my liking for a man making 5 mill he reminds me of jeno james all over agian. crapy pass prot decent run block liability overall.

so it's pretty much official that we wil be looking for 2 starting caliber gaurds plus a tackle in fa/draft. unless they like what they see from mormino and think he can stay healthy.
only thing i don't like is that the gaurd position isn't very heavy in this draft. here again we will have three new starters on this line come the new season..let the gelling process start all over again..jeez this line has been doing more gellin than dr.schol's..

tahts b/c we kept adding losers, busts, and 2nd stringers in there. if we finally put a line together that we are building aroudn satele and carey it sshould be set for a while/long time.

This draft is deep at OL, could be a reason for letting Hadnot go...
well i know it's pretty deep at the tackle spot but i didn't think there were alot of first yr starting gaurds out there..theres a few guards i wouldn't mind picking in the fourth rnd but i don't see them starting their rookie year.

schueng (sp) the rachel i think it is from USC and albert are the only G's i think worthy of the top 3 rounds.

I agree, those are the top three so far. But on kffl they say that Miami has talked to the OG from Utah State, Murphy. He's 6'4 and weighs 320, officailly from the Combine numbers.I think he's projected rd 4 or 5? Anyone have new info on this kid?

Say what you want about Yeremiah's injury problems, but he has been the difference in our defense the past 2 years. The opener last year we were playing very well until his achilles ruptured and then our run defense went down the drain. Go back to 2006 when we were 1-6 and we made the switch to start Bell. The next 4 games we allowed an average 13 points per game, forced 10 turnovers. Not to mention his awesome special teams play prior to getting the start.

Yeah, he is proned to injury, but we could give him a games played incentive deal and have a solid back up plan. I'd have no problem starting him and Jason Allen with a legitmate 3rd safety behind them.

I think Parcells saw that the lack of proper preparation and training due to a lax training camp is one of the main reasons we had so many injuries last year. I think that was one of the worst training camps the Dolphins have ever had. I couldn't see why Cameron had such an easy camp unless he was just trying to get the players to like and accept him.
He may of been trying to limit pre-season injuries but if he was it sure didn't work, it had the opposite effect.
