The silver lining of the Marty Booker injury could be the emergence of Derek Hagan. It would be great if we could see a 2006 draft pick actually contribute. Personally, I was never that impressed with him, but I'm going to hope like hell that I'm wrong on this one. Since Harrington and Hagan were on the 2nd string team they should be familiar with each other which should help Derek out against the Jetstains

He was good in College, I'm hoping he gets alot of playing time. He can be a great reciever for us.

It's about time some of our 2006 draft picks start paying dividends. Hagan you need to step up and be counted!!!

Are you speaking of his college career or since he has been with the Phins?
I understand that he set PAC 10 receiving records in college.

Gibson was on the PS for a reason. He wouldn't start over Hagan.

Pac-10 leader in recepts, and #two in rec. yards. he was alway listed 2nd behind booker on the opposit side of chambers, so i think he will play alot sunday.

I've written on these boards that I saw him as nothing more than a possession receiver. I've been more critical of drafting him simply because we had other more pressing needs and I view possession receivers as a dime a dozen. Felt we couldve picked one up in free agency easier. Having said that I'm hoping to see some playmaking ability from the kid. He runs great routes and if he continues holding on to the ball he may be able to help us this year and if he shows enough, we may be able to jettison Booker next year. I'm really hoping one of our draft picks does something this year and it looks like its going to have to be him or Allen

Well lets hope that he can do well Sunday, would like to see at least one of our draft picks do well.

I agree with everything you said...The one thing about him that I've noticed about him is that though he's a possession receiver he has shown the ability to get deep on the DB's. Not saying he has caught the deep ball because none of our qb's have hit on it yet, but I've seen him open deep a few different times. Hopefully Harrington might be able to expose this on Sunday.
