Why do we always talk about the monday night game. About a week or so after I kpet on talking about it but not now. We were 4-12 and the Pats won the superbowl, why in the hell would they care when we talk about it.

We should be ashamed w/ a 4-12 record that we r even talkign abotu a game last year.
 
You never be ashamed of a win but I do understand that the game is brought up a lot when our season was bad.
 
The Dolphins have a long standing tradition of beating SB champions in their SB winning year.We must hold the record for that statistic although I havent seen a formal one done.

As Wazzi said we should be ashamed of a win, I stoped talking about a week and 1/2 after the game. I dont bring it up, anymore unless I am talking trash to a Pats fan.
 
Yea but that game was clearly the highlight of our season, and after everything we went through from July until December to being huge underdogs and having no one give us a chance, to pull that off trailing by 11 points with 3:59 remaining, it truly was special.

I rarely if ever bring that game up but I will admit it was among my favorite moments as a dolfan. It showed that no matter how bad the circumstances had become, we still had some guts and raw talent left in the tank. Its great you think your team and its fans are pathetic though.:rolleyes:
 
That was the highlight of the season plus A.J played the game well. If he plays like that more often, than I think everything else will fall into place and we will be alot better than we we're last year.

Also a good point. Its showed us how well A.J is capable of playing when he's at his best against the best. This should give us some optimism considering he'll be playing under a FAR better coaching staff this year.

No, I'll tell you what is pathetic. All of the fans that got up and left before it was over is PATHETIC. The fact that a so-called "fan" can't give the Phins credit for winning that Monday night game is PATHETIC. Also, the nerve of "fans" blasting the Phins for ONE 4-12 season is PATHETIC (given the fact that it is, I believe, one of only a couple of losing seasons in two friggin decades).

The bottom line......you are pathetic.....I'm still a proud Phins fan.
 
How long has Miami had consecutive winning seasons in general?
Miami is a proud franchise, and when we're down in the dumps, you turn on them.

I take nothing away from you guys on that win. You won fair and square, and in a season where highlights were few and far between, why not be proud of it?

All the teams in our division seem to spoil a lot for the other teams. It's the little things that count, like that. Of course, when used in a trash talking sense, it is absurdly stupid and petty.

You might be the best non-Fins fan on this site. Every time one of your comments pops up, it's intelligent and unbiased.

Anyway, it was the only true highlight of the season. Credit everyone with wanting to celebrate that rather the mope about the bad stuff.
 
If it makes you feel better, I've probably only spoken of that game once since then. I'm not hungup on it like some folks

God I hope not. AJ played poorly other than that last pass. (And that only worked b/c he didn't have to read and make any adjustments) He was dinking and dunking for maybe 5 yards per pass. The only difference between that game and his others (other than the victory) is that the ints that were caught in other games were dropped in this one.
