Hall of Blame votes thru 3 games...
1. O-Line...I have never seen so many unblocked DE's and DT's (never mind the blitzing LB's and Secondary!). Fire the O-Line coach. It's easy guys, you don't have to try and run-block...treat every play like a passing down. Protect, Protect, Protect. Once there's a RB that's practiced with the first-team for a couple of weeks, we'll try and get one or two draw plays in the blocking playbook. F*ck...NE won 2 super bowls with steel passblocking and an occassional draw play thrown in to mix it up!
2. Feely...I've seen him force more passes when he's under pressure than anyone ever in a Fin's uniform (including Marino, who would actually COMPLETE those forced passes!). Throw it away Jay! The D will keep us in it! 2 picks for TD's already and a couple more in scoring position? Even good offenses lose most games doing that!!! 3 turnovers in the 1st quarter y'day?? Good luck! p.s. the TD catch late in the Cinci game doesn't count. You threw it into triple coverage, it got tipped and fly-paper handed Chambers pulled it in...F*ck it, play Sage.
3. Wanny...no excuse for the offense, even without Ricky, Boston & Konrad. Let's look at our D injuries...gimps - Surtain, Bowens; out - Chester; gone - Ogun...all of them Pro-Bowl caliber, and they still play lights out with perhaps some drop-off in the middle against the run (but still respectable). I think it's time to ruffle the feathers on 'O'. Put a new system in place. Run the underneath west-coast sh*t. Swing passes to the RB's...Get it out of the QB's hands as quick as possible. Let the players make plays, if not, punt and play D. They're used to it.
