I am actually more concerned about TUA after watching that, his Throwing mechanics are awful, hardly ever Steps into his Throws, hopefully with some great coaching, he will overcome this, if not, we are screwed royally.

Really fair breakdown on the young QBs play.
While i realize that pressure was getting to him I still don't know what happened to him in the Denver game.
He was missing plays all over the field.

Hopefully more time removed from the hip injury, offseason program, better protection and weapons will help.

Denvers D was nasty that game. they were able to pressure with 4 a lot and stunt. Plus they didn’t care about our run game at all so the passing windows on the first few reads were super tight.

Tua missed guys because I don’t think he had ever faced pressure like that before. That doesn’t mean he will never adjust and get better though. I watched Herbert struggle like crazy against the Pats D as well. Sometimes you just have to tip your hat to a superior defensive scheme against a young QB.

Once again, he was coming back way too early from a horrible injury and major surgery. just the fact he could actually start 9 games was amazing. I remember when a QB had to wait at least a couple of years to even play on a regular season game. Now everyone wants the rookie QB to play like a HOF guys in his first game.

We'll see what happens this year and we'll go from there but I hope he proves a lot of people wrong. Not so that we say we told you so but rather, because it'd be good for our team.
