I'm so freakin excited! And I fear it's going to be like any other year: camp practices will have us believe that the Dolphins are a faster, stronger, tougher and better football team and are ready to win the Superbowl. OL struggles will be sugarcoated because our DL is supposed to be top 5 in the league and OL is the most difficult position to play without pads (I can't remember how often I have seen that tweet: "Tannehill with a nice TD to [insert random WR here]. On a [insert random DL here] would-be sack though."
The first pre-season game our struggles will be ignored because it's the first pre-season game. The second pre-season game we'll struggle again because there is no gameplanning. Game 3 the starters play only a drive or two and Game 4 is for the bottom of the roster. We go into the first regular season game not having impressed in any of the four games but still with high hopes. On our offense's first drive, there's going to be a false start, a drop and a sack. And this will set the tone for another disappointing season.
I want to believe and like I said I'm super excited for training camp and the upcoming season but I've seen it too(ooooooo) many times in the past. Having said that, **** tempering expectations. Go Fins and **** the rest.
