" Some people have baby deer skin. Some people have armadillo skin. He's got the armadillo skin."

Look, I know Harbaugh was never going to say anything else about Martin. But it was an interesting observation to make about Kaep given the media circus around hazing/bullying/emotional support of players of the past month. Even the guy who defends Martin knows ultimately that you need a thick skin to be successful in pro sport. It's about responding to challenge and adversity.

That wasn't Kaepernick on Martin. It was Harbaugh on Kaepernick. The point being that Harbaugh will stand up and point out when one of his guys is tough (Kaepernick), and will sidestep the issue to a degree when he is not (Martin), and still find another way to compliment him.
