I've just looked on my HBO and Hard Knocks isn't playing tonight, I called HBO Canada and they said they won't air the series, do you guys have any idea how we can catch episodes of Hard Knocks in Canada?

From what I understand no Canadian broadcaster purchased the rights to the show. There are other ways to get it online. Not going to say I'm going to download a torrent of it tomorrow but I'm not going to say I won't either

i know i subscribe to HBO, so i can get any of their content on my computers using HBO Go. no idea if canadian HBO subscribers can get HBO Go, but it might be worth looking into.
Try to watch it on www.hbogo.com
If you subscribe to HBO through a cable provider, you wil have access to the website to watch streaming video of all recent HBO shows. The streaming on HBO is surprising good quality.
If that doesnt work, try the pirate bay.

That is supposedly only available in the US and certain US Territories.

hard knocks will not be on HGO GO. just checked on the website.
Once again we need to close a thread on this topic because people can't get it through their heads that torrents cannot be posted on this site. No more warnings will be given out at this point. Infractions and possible bans from here on in. If you can't figure out Google, god help you.
