Daunte Culpepper had a QB rating of 49.6 in Game 1 and 91.9 in Game 2 with 3 interceptions (avg QB rating 70.75). Joey had a QB rating of 58.2 in his first start and a 68.6 today (avg QB rating 63.4). He currently has 4 interceptions. Now, there is a lot to be said in the defense of both Daunte and Joey. Tipped passes getting picked off, dropped passes and a collapsing pocket to name a few. If Daunte could get healthy and regain quickness to avoid the sacks I think he would be a better QB. But obviously he can't and that is why Joey is starting. But I just wanted to put this out there so that people can get a little bit more objective about the QB position. Although I think Joey puts us in a better position to win at this time, I don't believe that he is a better QB than Daunte (when healthy).

you could also add to that that daunte had no interceptions in games 3 and 4

Will DC ever be fully healthy again? By that I mean will his knee get close to 100%, because a pocket passer he is not.

joey sacked what 1 time in 2 games compared to how many for C-rap?

I don't understand everyone's fascination with Joey Harrington. What has he shown in Detroit or with us, for that matter, that looks halfway intruiging? He is a Tedford quarterback. Other Tedford Quarterbacks include:

Kyle Boller
Akili Smith
A.J. FEELEY
Aaron Rodgers (jury still out)

He isn't an NFL caliber QB, or if he is, he is barely one. Daunte is clearly the better option. Give Daunte the same amount of time as Joey and we probably are sitting with at least 3 wins right now.

Because he was gun shy and afraid of throwing picks. He became even more hesitant with the ball. That is a bad sign for a QB.
Also remember he was playing the Titans and the Texans.

Yup, and the fact that Culpepper relies heavily on his mobility, and his knee isn't even CLOSE to healthy right now.

Oh, and the fact that Harrington is at 100% health.

Joey taint the prob. Joey is just running the offense that was dealt to him. DC would be much worse. trust me. If you dissagree, then I would say you dont know what the hell you are talking about.

Are you blind? Same amount of time? DC has had the time. Trouble is he can't read coverages and he takes sacks.
Teams blitz him more because they don't respect his ability to read defenses.

what else has joey done for us that DC hasnt? given us the oppurtunity to win the 2 games he started.
