Ok...so this is why I think Culpepper and Randy Moss might reunite...Culpepper sits on the bench a couple of weeks until he gets better. In the meantime Joey starts building up some value on the market because of his playing time (so we kill two birds with one stone)...Booker is also healing up on the bench...While this is going on in Miami, Oakland continues to implode and Walter starts falling out of favor and Moss keeps getting angry and talking...fast-forward a few weeks and Culpepper and Booker are healthy in Miami...could we see a Harrinton & Booker trade to Oakland for Moss? They get a serviceable WR and a starting QB for a disgruntled WR and we give Daunte his favorite weapon back. What do you guys think?

Oh, and as a side note...the Minny game is right before the Detroit game which means only one of our two QB's will get a shot against his former team (either Culpep is back for the Minny game or he isn't and Joey carries it over for the Detroit game)...who do you think wants a shot at his former team more? Joey or Daunte? And who would like to see bashing on his past team more?

:dolphins:JOEY! JOEY! JOEY! JOEY!:dolphins:

you want moss on this team? if c-pep need his security blanket to produce, he may as well retire now.

Joey has more reasons to prove to his old team that he can be a winner IMO. Daunte has incentive of proving the new coach wrong, Joey wants to prove the whole Detroit oganization wrong.

This scenario gets run up the flagpole at least twice each day, its not going to happen, let it die people, let it die.

I think none of that will happen. I certainly hope we don't get Moss!

No way.

Harrington, if nothing else, makes a great back up QB. C-pep still is running around on a manufactured knee. If it breaks, you are going to want a guy like Harrington around.

Good QB's are hard to come by. C-pep and Harrington are both good QB's. You don't just throw them away. Have we already forgotten the Fielder, Gus, Feeley years?

to bad you guys didn't take Charles Rogers. Joey Harrington 40 yd pass to Charles Rogers who runs it in for a TD and the WIN in Ford Field.... and the Lions lose!!!!:sidelol:

If Joey ups his value that much, why would you want to trade him? If he looks that impressive, why trade him away to a Conference opponent? If he plays that well, he starts, Culpepper backs up. He doesn't, when DC is ready he comes back in and we can see what he's got a little closer to 100%. Plus, Moss has a HUGE salary and recent numbers aren;t too impressive, and I can't justify taking that on in exchange for a "possible" Franchise QB just to force the Daunte situation to work out.

I am with you...I would like to see Culpepper and Moss reunite as well. Only in Oakland, not in Miami. Hard to believe everyone hasn't had enough of Culpepper already. Why would fans want to go through this again next year?

OH, Pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaase play Daunte against the Vikings, I''ve been waiting all year for this. We need a sure win, and I really need the laughs.

Believe it or not we worked him out and theres room on the roster for him. I'm not sure i'd want him here though especially with Ricky coming back next year :ricky:

We don't want CPEP and Moss together for three reasons: 1) CPEP ain't the CPEP of old and either won't be for quite some time or might never be that same player again; 2) Moss is a locker room cancer; 3) Phins management have likely figured out 1 and 2 already.

We need a better O-line more than we need better WR's.

Joey ain't going to Oakland anyway because the Raiders probably believe they've got their QB of the future in Walters. This year's already toast for the Raiders, so they'll work Walters all year and see if he's the real deal or not. Personally I think Walters has got real potential.

First of all, no mid-season trades of consequence ever happen in the NFL.

Even if there were, the trade deadline is next Tuesday.

You got it. I do not want Moss on this team. Alot of people think if we get Moss, CP's knee will magically be 100% again. Not the case, what you see from CP right now is what you will get for the rest of the year, regardless of who is on the receiveing end.

Stop with these qb threads already. Harrington will play for the rest of the season and C-Pep will be the qb of the future unless Harrington playes really well.
