what a hell of a play by Brian Hartline. He bailed Henne out of another pick that wouldve ended the game. Hartline never gave up on that play, came back knocked it out of the defenders hands and came up with the catch for a 57 yard play. He single handedly saved the game and gave us a chance to win it. This kid makes plays.

I saw the ball come up short and the defender under it, i couldnt believe Hartline made that play

He never gives up. As far as I see it he's easily our best WR.

That is the kind of moxie that we have not had from our receivers in who knows how long. Great toughness and savvy out of that kid. And to think it only took a 4th round pick to get this kid. Some of our self-proclaimed experts lampooned the pick, yet he was a bargain in the 4th round. I remember Peter King making a big deal about how much he liked the pick. Steal for the 4th round.

The great thing about Parcells and Ireland, they emphasize intangibles. They want the tough kid who has spunk and fight in him. Grit, toughness, and savvy mean something to these guys. When you load up your roster with these types of guys, you can have a cohesive team that makes key plays.

Our prior regimes didn't understand this. That's how you ended up with weanies like Derek Hagan instead of a kid like Hartline.

I never saw him play at Ohio and most on the board probably alsol! i just can't believe how good he is in particular at getting open! What a steal! bravo! FO

Brian Hartline is the antithesis of Ted Ginn. He's tough, gritty, sure handed, and not afraid to get out there and mix it up. Ginn sucks.
