This is more for the old timers here, but did that catch remind anyone of the blown call in the '79 AFC Championship game (Oilers @ Steelers). Both incidents occured in the third quarter, the receiver barely getting both feet down, the current Dolphins uniforms looking kinda Oilerish, close scoring game. Thank gooodness for instant reply on ours as it too was initally called no catch. Maybe somewhere out there Mike Renfro is smiling.

Good God man!!!! I bet there isn't many here that remember that....but,you are correct.
I remember Pitt kicking our tail, the game before that one.Zonks last playoff game with Miami.

79?

Believe I was still floating around my dad's nut sack around that time.

I can't seem to remember what I did with my family last week but I can remember ancient football history.:rolleyes2:

I remember it. I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw it Sunday. I was convinced they would blow the replay call. My guess is the refs are saving that for NE this week.

That was great old time football. I read on espn rankings, that sunday was only the 2nd time in 5 yrs pittsburgh has given up 3 redzone TD passes. PHINS Up! That was a great play call, pass and CATCH. Hartlines production this year has been nice to see.

I saw the Ashlon Jeffrey catch last night and ESPN was making a big deal of it. It was #1 on their top plays of the weekend. Hartline's wasn't even in the top 10. I don't know how his was better.

I remember saying when we signed Mike Wallace that Brian Hartline would have another 1000 yard season.

Not so funny a idea now huh?
