has any rookie or fa really impressed?

i have watched all 3 ps games and i cant say i was impressed with any rookie or fa player we signed.i think clay caught 3 balls had a nice block and then nothing ,gates up and down nothing special same with pouncey.i dont think any fa player even sniffs our ps.what do u think
 
Jimmy Wilson and Pouncey are playing really well. Gates has proven he will be a contributor. Remember, they are rookies. They won't be beasts from the get go. If that is your expectation then you are in for a major letdown.

Kevin Burnett looks and plays like a huge upgrade over Crowder. Reggie Bush will make many big plays as long as he is healthy. This could prove to be the best offseason since the Trifecta came in 4 years ago.

Well given all the bad rep Pouncey has gotten from some on this board, he has had a pretty solid preseason snapping the ball. Those that argued he would be a liability snapping should be impressed.

Preseason. Starters don't play much, vanilla playcalling, injury concerns. Wait till the season starts to evaluate.
 
Of the rookies Jimmy Wilson has flashed the most IMO. Of the FA, I agree with Burnett and Trusnik on special teams.

All 3 preseason games for what team? Because if you watched the Dolphins ps games and aren't impressed with any of our new guys, what exactly are you watching/expecting?

Burnett is an upgrade over Crowder....that's it.

I agree, there is noone we have this year that anyone is saying is "special." No Zach Thomas being found in this bunch...
 
I thinK Pouncey and Wilson have both played well. But I expect big things from Clay, he is a matchup nightmare. Hoping Daboll doesnt waste him just blocking.

The guy is talking about rookie FA not all FA. Obviously Burnett and Bush are making the team.

I think Pouncey has played alright. Clay hasn't shown a whole lot, but he has potential and definitely isn't horrible. Daniel Thomas hasn't looked great, but our line is not helping matters there. Clyde Gates looks like he could do what Ginn did for us (minus the drops hopefully) and strectch the D while being a home run threat. Frank Kearse has made some plays against third stringers. He may be a PS candidate. Jimmy Wilson has looked pretty darn good and should contribute as a rookie.

Undrafted FA-

Looks like a bunch of cuts but Pat Devlin and Philip Livas may warrant a PS consideration.
