We have a vet. minimum deal on the table for Law and thats it. I personally don't think he's going to sign that. Never know though I guess.

I have a gut feeling he's comming our way for 1 yr.

I mean we are almost at training camp. The only other scenerio I forsee is maybe someone has an injury during TC or pre-season and they are forced to sign him at something better than just the minimum.

Other than that he'll come to us if only because he's got the best chance to start here and it's a high profile team which will get him noteriety for him if he plays well so he can get the contract he wants next year.

Of course these are just my thoughts...the guy could up and sign tomorrow with whomever...

But remember, we have no prime time games this year. We are not nearly as high profile a team as we usually are.

True...but we've got a new coach which supposedly many people wanted, Ricky Williams comming back story and we are in one of the toughest and most talked about divisions in the league in part because we've got the Pats which are media darlings...

The only thing that gives me a sliver of hope is that there isn't alot of buzz around his name right now. and no team is beating the door down to sign him. Hopefully, he get similar $$$ offers from everyone else that's interested. Then w/ all things being equal he might come here. Do I think he will sign here? Not really. But the longer he remains unemployed the better chance of him taking our one year offer.....

I think he will sign and play for 1 year show other teams he is still a top 5 corner in this league and become a FA next year then sign somewhere for the money he wants....

As far as Pat Kirwin said on Sirrius NFL Channel Today, Law has narrowed his choices to Jets, Steelers, Chiefs, and an outside chance for the Jags. I haven't heard anybody say the phins are in the running for him. Plus hes looking for 4-6 million a year not a vet min 1 year deal

The closer we get to camp, the better shot we have.

He lives in Plantation. And Saban will make him look good the way Belichick can. Plus it'll be a one-year deal, so he'll be free to sign for big money elsewhere once he proves he's back.

Still, I'll be shocked to see the words "Ty Law", "agrees" and "minimum salary" on the same line.

If he can talk one of those GMs into paying him 4-6 mil per, more power to 'em...

I agree

I think he'll land in either K.C. or Jacksonville. More Likely K.C. b/c there going to need all the DB's they can get in that division. So they might be willing to overpay.

The Jets don't have the $$$ and Pitt just doesn't give out to many big contracts.
