I think he will want high (1st or 2nd) pick money regardless of where he goes, similar to Lienhart last year.
IMO part of getting value for your pick is paying him the least you can which is closely related to the slot where he is selected. So if you like a player at 9, but are pretty sure he will be there at 15, it makes sense to try to trade down, so you can pay him 15th pick money.
With Quinn, it makes sense to trade up to 2, since that is the kind of money he would demand anyway. Sure the draft pick compensation would be less to go up to 6, but moving up to two gives us the "value" while garunteeing (sp?) that you get the guy you want.
Two firsts should do it, I would think.
