I want us to get back to the days when Surtain and Madison were getting 8 or 8 INTs per year and we had two total shutdown corners. While SABAN's system doesn't call for corners to be on a island by themselves so much, it still transforms a defence when you have that. Anyway, SABAN is known for concentrating on the secondary so I have faith in him getting us back to those days.

well, Daniels and Poole both have a lot of potential and Will Allen is a fine player, not spectacular, but he gets the job done. we have solid corps of safeties, i think our secondary is in good shape, but i dont think i'd mind if we drafted Williams.

Man i have noticed anytime they are talking about any team....they show them burning us. Either defensively or offensively. I thought I was the only one who noticed that. My wife thought I was paranoid.

Don't let video highlights fool you.....I have seen him in person....He is not what these so-called experts say he is. He has min. recovery speed and plays off a man in man coverage so far that a pro qb will burn him on slants all day long.......take a look at the Miami Hurricanes clips and Nc ST clips....watch as they throw slants and play underneath him while he is 15 yds off wr at the line......Williams will not help this team....please look elsewhere.

Even in '04 Miami's pass defense wasn't as bad as it was last year. I'm hoping last year was a necessary evil and a mere blip in transition. Cuz that's really one thing we haven't talked about much here on this board. Supposing our pickups in the offseason don't make a large difference, we could be the 2000 Rams :).

I think the role players we picked up will be better than the supporting cast in 05, but while Madison had been underachieving badly the last few years, he still was the best CB we had left.
