but with the guys we got, they wont miss a beat. Throught the year Manny will get more and more playing time as he gets used to the speed.

yeah and if and when he does get healthy and we have a need we can sign for the vet minumum and be responsible for the prorated amount whenver we sign. If we had kept him on the PUP it would have guarenteed his salary for the season. Wouldn't you do this. I would. No one is going to sign Chester hurt. He's not healthy yet.

Supposedly he was going to be very close to ready by the opener. he had a huge frickin cap hit this year, correct? like at least a mil or 2?
