Is it me or since mueller was hired, he has been out of sght, kind of working in the background, it is interesting considering he was such a high profile guy

Saban is the face of the organization, Muller works for him. That is just how it is now and maybe a good way to go. You never really see Scott Pioli (sp?) from New England do you??
I think it is a good thing we are not seeing him. Saban probably has him heavily scouting potential draft picks and maybe even working on an extension for McMichael. Saban is a great coach, but I am glad we have a man like Mueller who is a pro at all the financial dealings of the NFL.Bonedoc7777 said:

I'm still very surprised that Mueller has easily accepted such a background role for Miami. It could be typical Saban you know, put in the work in the background then we'll get you a fulltime GM gig somewhere else with full control.

Mueller was a high profile GM with the Saints because that was part of his job description.
