Short video with Charlie Casserly. Says Tannehill is on schedule and he feels the Miami Dolphins should be thrilled that they are not one of the 6 teams looking for a new QB.

Says coming out of school you saw a QB that had the ability to make all the throws, but he needed experience and needed confidence. He knows more of the playbook this year and is showing confidence so they are able to do more.

Says there are times that he'll still miss a throw here and there that you'd like to see him hit, and he still has some questionable decision making at times, but there's no reason not to be excited by his future.

I pretty much agree. Next step in the development is better decision making on the move, and hopefully cutting down on the INTs.

Coming out of this season without the feeling that a new QB is needed is all the success I need for this particular season.

Alot of people should feel this way. Playoffs are exciting and a 10-6 record, helps validate peoples wants and needs. But having your QB of the future playing now at a decent level should be the barometer for this season. Sadly, if you believe this way though, you will be accused of accepting mediocrity.

I think he can definitely sling the football and is very accurate. What he needs to work on most are passes with upward trajectory...touch passes to get over intermediate defenders on throws over the middle and deep balls. He can throw the darts like the best in the league IMO.

I am excited because he continues to progress, and that is more than you can say for any QB we've had since Marino. We also have to consider he's the most sacked Dolphin QB in a single season, ever. We have played with a rag tag O-Line all year, so I'd like to think we will improve that facet of the team going forward. I wish we would move the pocket more on playaction to help the line and the QB out but we just don't do it enough.

All things considered the kid is in the top-10 in Pass yards and Pass TD's. Not bad.
