The man is a winner.

Yeah, I know. We suck. I expect many will soon be along to tell me how wrong I am, how he has no awareness, pocket presence, so on and so forth.

He got leg whipped and took 6 sacks today. And threw for 329 yards behind a non existent line, missing no snaps.

Losers don't do that. ******* don't do that.

He has a ways to go. We can thank the front office for that. Poor coaches, worse draft picks. Insisting on using a piss poor line. Tannehill has received zero support from the office (let the kid get pummeled), the coaching staff (do exactly what you are told, regardless), or the fans (**** this loser).

You all can say or think what you will. I've been running with these guys nearly 40 years. Ryan Tannehill is the perfect example of ruining a guy who has potential. He has NEVER received a fair shot with a decent coaching staff, a dependable Oline, or even the confidence of an OC to allow an audible.

And for all you guys who talk about how Brady lifts his team, I defy you to tell me with conviction that any quarterback in the history of the NFL could lift this pile of **** team.

We're Goddamn lucky Tannehill can still lift himself off the ****ing ground.

Whatever potential we think he has or had, it's being destroyed by all the hits he's taken over the 4 years. His confidence is shot, his body will break down - perhaps it is already - why doesn't he run anymore, etc? I fear his career may be short-lived TBH.

Wins and losses-wise, this guy will never be a winner as long he is employed by this franchise...BUT, the kid has MOTHER F$#@K!NG GUTS!!!!! he has been getting BLASTED on Sunday for 4 years...he takes a beating and still keeps coming back for more...Dan Marino he is not, but i'd go to war with Ryan Tannehill ANY day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

F$#K 95% of the people on this board and the $h!t that they talk about this kid...

We have to give me a decent OLine.
Sacked about 400 times since 2012 ( I am guessing, but not far off. )
This oL is god awful

Kid is tough, can't deny that. I'm amazed he can still chew solid food.

Which is why I have no time for the haters. He plays as good as Brady, considering what he has.

Swap Tannehill and Brady. Brady and Miami go home. Tannehill and the Patriots go to the Super Bowl.

He is tough, but absolutely the opposite of clutch. When there is real pressure, he folds. Even today, in a game that didn't matter, he couldn't pull it out.

I know we will be bashed for it, but I agree. I have been a Tannehill supporter all along, and I began to question him this season, but I agree with you. Although he still has a lot to learn and prove, his career is being ruined by this team. Between constantly fielding an OL full of crap to constantly changing systems and coaches, he has just not been given a fighting chance. Many other QBs would not have gotten up off the ground after some of the hits he has taken.

I am not saying he is the answer yet, but I do think this front office needs to give him the chance. He needs more work. The 1st down thrown to Landry at the end of the game didn't need to be a bullet and needed to be a little lower. He is terrible at fades in the end zone. He needs to know when to run it it's not called (like maybe 2nd down at the end of the game), he needs some more pocket presence, although that is difficult when you are constantly getting pummeled from every direction.

My opinion, which really doesn't matter, either give the guy a chance to prove himself or let him go be a star somewhere else. Just as the Redskins ruined RG3, the Dolphins are ruining Tannehill.

Don't confuse toughness with results or production.

Figured you'd be along soon.

That's the point. There can't be production. By Tannehill or anybody else. Not with the way the team has been since he got drafted. That's all. The end.

Marino wouldn't be able to do it. Neither would Brady, Elway, or Favre. And I expect it's obvious.

Be down on the whole team. I know it's SOP to hound the QB, but he could be pretty good.

Tannehill, Miller, Landry on offense, Suh, Wake, and Jones on defense. That's all we got. ALL we got. And you're gonna bitch about Tannehill?

I agree. Given the way he has been beat up consistently behind this OFFENSIVE line, we may never know how good Tannehill could have been. He's a tough S.O.B. but no one can take hits like he has taken and not be physically and psychologically effected by it. Add together the 180 plus sacks he has taken with all of the other hits and they will (are) take their toll on even the toughest guy.

RGIII ruined himself. Yes, the organization may have had him further damage his knee, but the guy doesn't have the passing chops and didn't have the attitude or work ethic to overcome it. He succeeded in the midst of the read option craze, but only Russell Wilson, who always was more of a natural passer, emerged from that where QB's really had to become passers first.

Tannehill could be a top 10 QB if given a halfway decent line. He is not Brady or Rodgers but he is just as good if not better than half these QBs that will be in the playoffs this year. It is a team game!

I honestly don't know if RT will be the long term answer for the Fins in turning this ship around. But I have seen enough of him to know that I'm comfortable with him getting the chance to prove it one way or another with better coaching and better players around him. Ironically, it is not the skill position guys, but the corn feds up front that need to be improved.
