I am not a fan of the guy but it was a beautiful catch last night. I hope he is dedicated to improve and become a weapon for this team.

Thoughts?

How are you not a fan of the ted ginn family?

my sentiments exactly

if Henne turns him into our Alvin Harper(and we get a Michael Irvin)

then look out

I am sick of Ginn and his whole family (I am sure they're nice people though). I literally tunred my T.V. off and didn't watch the rest of the draft after that pick. Now looking back on it, this organization was screwed whether they picked Quinn or Ginn.

I dont know what all the hate on ginn is for. I think hes coming along just fine. I never expected him to be a true number 1 and therefore I am not being letdown. Anyone that thought he was going to turn into Andre Johnson or Larry Fitzgerald is just not being realistic.

I think Henne's arm is going to help alot, that was Revis he beat by a couple of steps

Imagine what would have happened if he dropped it. I'm pretty sure a trap door would have opened under him and we'd never see him again. Later, Tuna would be spotted wiping blood from his chin with a dinner napkin.

Ginn would not be on this team. GUARENTEED.

Ginn is not a big time receiver in the mold of Andre Johnson or Larry Fitzgerald. But how many guys in the league are? And who can predict who will be? Look at how many top receivers wasted away until the bottom of the first or later?

We can't be that upset. Almost all of us would have pulled the trigger on Quinn. We'd be stuck with his fat contract and be getting zero contribution for it.

Ginn wasn't the best pick in the draft; hindsight is 20/20, and the NFL draft is anything but.

Now, though, instead of Quinn riding the pine, we've got a deep threat who does make a significant contribution with his presence and, for all his failures, has made some big plays and helped us win a few games.

Something > nothing. The kid didn't choose his draft spot. Let's just sit back, root for him, and be glad we don't have Quinn or Jamarcus Russell or something.

Hmm, how are you guys not fans of this guy?

He hasn't had a real QB that can throw a deep ball, until now.

He TORCHED the "BEST" corner and in football and two safeties by 5 yards.

He was probably in for 40% of the offensive snaps, he needs to be in there more, only thing that bothers me about him is his blocking.

Ginn is impossible to cover one on one - when playing with Henne. When he was playing with Pennington, he was an average WR. I don't think he'll ever be a great WR, but I think he can be our Lee Evans.

Truth be told, I don't know why Revis didn't jam him better at the line. Seemed almost like a lapse in concentration or something.

He's not a number 1 receiver. Simple. He doesn't have the size nor the skill. He can be nice weapon if he has a true number one lined up opposite to him.
